John Paul was determined to prove that art could deliver an emotional, meaningful message. He has continued on with this series for twenty years, calling it "Missing children: Paintings of Hope." This new project, Guardian Angels, was started by John Paul and based upon his original vision. When I asked John Paul what was his motivation for starting this new project he said,
